NaPoWriMo Prompt – Day 23 (Stream-of-Consciousness)

The answer is elephants. Or rather, with today’s prompt, the answer is whatever pops into your head, whether it be pink elephants or something else.

  • Write a stream-of-consciousness poem. One way to do this is simply to begin with free writing, following any path your mind takes. Another way is to begin with a phrase or idea, then type that into Google. Take something from the search results, make a note of it, and follow that, in turn. Write a poem based on what you discover.
